Participant-Exclusive Bootcamps

Bootcamps are available on-demand, meaning participants can watch them whenever it is convenient for them starting on the above-mentioned date.
Although viewing the bootcamps is not mandatory, crucial information on how to conduct research and write an effective proposal will be provided and may therefore play a helpful role in how successful participants are in the competition.
Instructions on how to access bootcamps will be provided to participants via email in the days leading up to the 18th.
Assessment Form Submission Deadline
Submit by - November 1st
The Assessment Form is where we ask participants to submit a 150-200 word response to 4 questions and share their research topic with us. No one will be disqualified at this stage. It is simply the time by which participants need to have decided what their research topic is and provide this information to us.
A submission link for the Assessment Form will be emailed to participants on October 26th.
Proposal Submission Deadline
Submit by - November 10th by 23:59 UTC+06 (Asthana Dhaka)
The Research Proposal is the main research participants submit during the competition. The research proposal must be a maximum of 2 pages (excluding cover page, title, citations, and references).
Information on how to write a proposal and what to include will be provided in the bootcamps as well as further communication.
A submission link for the Proposal will be emailed to participants on October 26th.
Qualification Round Winners Announcement
Announced - November 15th
The top 20 proposals will move on to the next round and will need to prepare a video submission as part of the Final Round.
Video Pitch Submission Deadline
Submit by - November 17th by 23:59 UTC+06
The top 20 Finalists must submit a 2.5-5 minute-long video submission.
The Video Pitch is a presentation with slides which should state the proposal's research question or objective and provide an overall introduction to the participant's research process and potential future research avenues.
